The Land

A life under the oaks.

Mature oaks, mountain views, and room to watch the light change. Under the Oaks is our home and lavender farm in the mountains of Kern County.

Around the lavender, the land has a life of its own: birds in the branches, water in the creek, and a sky that gives us a reason to look up.

From first light to a sky full of stars.

Some days, it’s the sunrise over the mountains. Other days, it’s the chickens going about their business or the shade beneath an old oak. They’re as much a part of Under the Oaks as the lavender.
